Stagiaires ou apprentis, tous les étudiants du master IEC suivent durant deux ans des cours universitaires deux jours par semaine. « Mais que font-il alors le reste du temps ? » me diriez-vous… Et bien ils travaillent, mais dans leur entreprise. Zoom sur un rythme particulier qui nécessite une véritable organisation.
Étudiante en master 2 IEC, je suis par ailleurs chargée de communication pour une collectivité territoriale en alternance les lundis, mardis et mercredis depuis septembre 2009. Un poste à mi-temps qu’il faut réussir à gérer, malgré une charge de travail importante.
Actuellement, l’heure est à la promotion d’un spectacle culturel intitulé Rapaces ! Evénement local de ce mois de février, celui-ci demande beaucoup d’investissement et de disponibilité. Site internet, création d’affiches, de flyers, article dans le journal municipal, publicité, relations presse… Les supports de communication sont nombreux. Et malgré mes absences hebdomadaires, le travail doit suivre son cours, entre validation, bon à tirer et devis.
Car si ce rythme d’alternance fait partie intégrante du contrat, la vie professionnelle des autres, elle, ne s’arrête pas deux jours par semaine. Il faut donc mettre en place une organisation un peu particulière : ne pas oublier de tout noter, remplir régulièrement son agenda, autant d’astuces qui aident à mieux s’y retrouver et à prendre rapidement le relai des dossiers en cours, dès le lundi suivant.
Entre temps, la fin de semaine est évidemment bien chargée à l’Université : cours, devoirs, conférences. Il reste malgré tout deux jours, ce fameux week-end tant attendu pour décompresser et travailler un peu à la rédaction du mémoire… avant de reprendre le rythme le lundi matin !
Avec la certitude à la clé, d’avoir obtenu un diplôme de qualité et une véritable valeur ajoutée sur le cv.
